The Day Has Come
Ok, ok. I know, that sounds a little dramatic, but we’ve just launched the Folders feature and it’s kind of a big deal to us. Mainly because of the fact that it was such a challenge. Though it may seem like a simple little feature to you, it was actually very, very difficult to get all the the functions and behaviors just right. And since I personally am a perfectionist by my very nature, it made it that much more difficult.
Hope you guys like it. Please give us your feedback, we’re interested.

I am liking will be great if I get to storing large quanities of files. Thanks
I just learned of your service through franticindustries.com. (I also just learned of franticindustries.com
. I don’t really need online backup, but I know I should backup and your service fits the bill for some of my needs. It works great so far. Thanks for the hard work!
great job!it helps me a lot~ thx
Hi!
I just registered for your service and I can say that this is what I really needed, something simple and easy to use.
About the new folders feature I think it’s nice and working good. The only thing I saw is that when I want to create a new folder a popup window is shown which IE7 tries to block and I should give explicitly I want to allow it. Maybe it will be good if it can be shown in the way other windows are shown.
Anyway good job, Thanks!
Regards,
Marin
I haven’t even looked at the feature properly yet and I still know its great!!
It just seems to blend in perfectly…I guess it make Dropboks perfect for my needs…
Thanks for making such a great product!!
Cheers,
Sam
I was looking for a online back up option to load my numerous presentations that i refer to during knowledge sharing sessions with my students. I just decided to use yours of the many available since its clean and simple. Will send you more feedback once i upload more and dowload more. But wish you and the team the very best.
Thanks for your development.
Thnxs for the hard work , this made dropboks nearly perfect, now we only need a progress bar and its complete.
I lke your program, but I’m having trouble with the folders, they don’t have download or open when I right click on them , I only get delete or rename. Is there some setting that needs to be activated. I’m using SeaMonkey browser.
Thanks for a great program.
Drew.
@Drew Radford
You can’t Download folders, to open a folder you have to double click it.
I’m loving it
Great work guys!!!
Works great. Already had some files in place and I created new folders and dragged them in — poof! Worked fast and just as expected. Using Firefox on Linux. Thanks for the great site!
It is simply brilliant. And you know what, these simple features you keep adding continue to remain simple (and, subsequently, keep DropBoks simple) because the underlying design is so intutive & user friendly. It is like you are taking the age-old metaphor of a file explorer, in its simplest state, and putting it online.
I think, despite your aversion to complexity (which, I completely agree with though), the next logical feature should be “file/folder notes.”
Cheers guys! Keep up the good work.
P.S: Can we have a paid version too, with larger capacity and file-upload limits?
Ah, very nice. Once I actually upload enough files to have a point to bring me to sort them, I’ll be very grateful.
Thanks in advance.
I run an a forum for Linux users seeking to advance their learning beyond the “noobie” stage in a positve, friendly environment.
Many of our members are working toward becoming Linux technicians and admins, etc some, just wanting to learn more about the OS in an easygoing way.
DropBoks is what I have recommended as my personal choice for online storage because of the simple and basic interface and usability. The fact that it is a tool accessible to Linux users is a huge plus for us. I personally use online, remote storage for server and site backups. This is a great tool and you have been exceptional in your communications and assistance.
Good Job folks.
