Account Upgrade -Now Available!
We’ve finally launched our account upgrade feature. Thanks so much for your patience on this as we know that a lot of you were waiting for it. This feature allows you to upgrade the size of your account as well as the size of the files you upload for a small (seriously, it’s super small) monthly cost. To upgrade your account, simply click the ‘Upgrade’ link at the bottom right of your ‘Boks’.

Great service, however I wanna complain about the upload feature. I like the old one better.
I’d be glad if you let me use Dropboks again:)
Because i only use it for my homework or anothers personals thing.
Dropboks is too easy than my own USB or mail count,so , i’ll love to use it again.

I would like to second the previous poster’s complaint about the “new” upload feature. Previously, we could select multiple files for upload; now each one requires multiple steps. DUMB!
I was about to upgrade but think I’ll wait and see if you guys fix this “feature” first.

What you are referring to is actually the old uploader which was a stand in until we fixed an issue that Flash 10 caused. You had Flash 10 installed so you saw the old uploader. All is fixed now and the multiple selection for upload is back to normal.

Does the upgrade let me select multiple files for download? That’s the one feature that I’d really like to pay for.

You should better care about features already implemented. Here’re some problems: still no support for Safari and Chrome, increasing number of downloads gives ‘No method error’ page, problems with flash uploader not working on some configs (now new uploader doesn’t allow to upload anything on Microb Nokia Internet Tablet browser with Flash 9, and it’s pity! cause i used it intensively).

hello there ! … I juz upgraded to 2 gb and I love it! .. BEST thing is it’s sooo simple to use and it WORKS everytime. I hope you will make some money out of these upgrades(they r dirt cheap) because I would like to keep using your service. I would pay more than what u r charging now & many people will be willing to pay more , I am sure. Keep up the great work. I look forward to get 10 gb upgrade soon :=) .. I want to use it as a on-line back up for my home computer files.
Monthly fee!! I love your service…really. But a monthly fee!! I use you BECAUSE its’ free. There are lots of other FREE services that give more space. I’d be ok with a ONE time fee, but monthly..EACH month! NO, NO, NO!

Lovely feature, really. Nice to see that the simpleness is kept.
There is however a problem, which grows along with the storage space, and it’s the fact that you can only download one file at a time. You can easily solve it with small files, just by writing a code that stuffs them in a ZIP file, but if some guy with 10GB of space needs to hastily back up his (say) wedding film, another 200 pictures, and mp3 collection, he’s going to spend a few good hours getting it back.
I don’t know whether this is a place for suggestions, and this one is pretty un-simple oriented, but having a program that can do what DropBoks does on a local level could improve the usage by a bit (in my opinion). Just think of it, the exact same interface with the exception of having the advantage to quickly manage your files. It’s been done before, but it never was as simple as this.

We will always have a free account. The monthly fee is only if you want to upgrade. Also, we’ll have yearly payment options in the future as well.

It would be much more better to download all files in 1 folder together. (like the upload service) This would be the best feature for your great dropboks.

Anyway, your service has saved my life!
My “hobby” and “night job” is that I’m an Elvis Tribute Artist.
Therefore, I do a lot of home recording, but I have avoided more recording because of how wav files tie up so much disk space. (you can ruin sound by converting, say, a vocal, to mp3)
Anyway, thanks to your service, I can now record in peace, with the knowledge that I can save my tracks for later editing!

After trailing through dozens of online storage sites that were mainly over-fancy, over-priced and more than I needed I’m glad I have found you so I can get a new home for my files when yahoo briefcase closes down in March.
What I really appreciate is that I can store some .mq4 and .ex4 files I like to keep handy because I use them for currency trading, but I can’t upload to places like google documents as they are quite restrictive with what file extensions they allow.
