Wow, I liked. I’m using since yesterday.
Well, I was quite confused, a free service that is easy to use and doesn’t contain barrage of ads. I felt and still do a point a bit uneasy. I have found “dropboks” hard to believe. I stored my first couple files and retrieved them. These file were no of much consequence and am not afraid of security issues with them. Only time will tell if I made a good choice, but so far so good.
I thank you for this service and hope to see it succeed.

One feature I would LOVE to see at DropBoks.com is the ability to sort numerous uploaded files into groups. In other words, have the ability to create folders at the DropBoks.com interface so I can – for example – store CVs & job applications in one folder, voluntary support clubs’ files in another folder so on. Hope you can do this in the near future, while knowing that you’re providing DropBoks.com on a donation-basis…

Hi, thanks for this great hassle free service! I had shot a clip of my 2 year old daughter singing ‘twinkle twinkle’ and it was around 17 MB. I wanted to share it with parents & family and could not send it by mail. Search on Google brought me to dropboks and in a second I was setup & uploading the required file.

Although I do like your site, I think it would really benefit from an ability to share files among friends without giving out my password.
Don’t get me wrong – dropboks is great. But if it is only for me to store my files, well I can do that simply by e-mailing an attachment to my e-mail account. The ultimate goal of your service should be the ability to network (perhaps even a type of social network, which is the next craze).
So please, try to offer this feature ! Then I won’t hesitate to donate !

We want to show a jpg file we dropped in dropboks on our paypal https:// interface- is it possible to extract/reveal/get the url of the dropped file? Nice gadget all the same…
I love this site. I store files to use when I am onsite with customers. This is a nice clean fast download site. I do miss a couple of things from my old site. One I know you are working on is multi-file upload. The other would be a way to sync with a folder on my computer. These utiliyies I use change from time to time and right now I don’t know if I have uploaded all the current ones. Other that that it’s great.

I love your product. Dropboks makes it so easy to exchange graphics files with my clients. The interface is so simple and intuitive. It’s a no-brainer.
If you want a feature request, how about offering versions branded with your client’s identity like some web-based project management applications do.

Aye! This sight is just what I need to access my files in computers wherein USB ports are down, hah! But there is one more thing we would find useful indeed, and that would be the presence of an external link or something…like webhosting or something?

I love this upload website, Keep up the good work. I suggest you guys to do a gallery, Like.. Whenever we upload something we can view it later on so we can always get the link or info on how much downloads it got, etc.
The perfect simple to use storage space. Not gigantic storage but oh so usefull when jumping around work centres and I need the few key files everywhere. Get on the internet and you have your files. Top notch guys. Keep up the good work. And thanks.

1 thing: Id like to have a username rather than my email address. Id like to be able to send people to my box to download, and telling them to use my email address feels a bit too familiar.

you know, it would be nice to be able to synchronize a folder on my computer, say the my documents folder, with my dropboks account.
Shell extension… say part “send to”, to make uploading easier.

I’ve just started using Firefox 3.0b4 on my Macintosh (I’ve been a dropbox user for some time) and I am not able to upload files any more. At the same time I can do it using Safari which is not supported, according to a message. What gives? Can anyone tell me if there are any settings I should change in Firefox to again be able to upload files? Firefox is my primary browser. I love the service and am anxiously waiting for the upgrade.

It is a very nice site with simple features.We have been using it a lot since August 2007. Some things that can be done better in next release are:-
1. Multiselect of files & download
2. A Larger user interface screen (Dropboks appears very small in 1200×800 monitors
3. Toolbar buttons for download & upload (Instead of Mouse Right Click)

I’m having trouble right-clicking files, only the Firefox right-click menu shows up on top of the Dropboks menu, covering it.
I have been using dropboks for about a week now and it is great ! I love the minimalist design and ease of use. I prefer dropboks over any other file storage that I have tried.
This site is groovy!!! Very easy to use for us non-tech grayheads who started out with B/W TV…

Kudos for browser interface. I work on multiple machines and not being bound to a third party file manager app is the bee’s knees. I’m also happy you offer upgrade packages so I can grow with DropBoks. I’m crossing my fingers DropBoks will retain it’s customer oriented vision and remain a service organization and I trust and respect.
